We launched the Treker platform because we understand that communication is one of the most powerful ways to keep kids safe. Our new Instant Messaging feature makes the communication flow between drivers, admins and parents faster and simpler than ever.

Just like live chat

Instant Messaging enables seamless, instantaneous one-to-one or one-to-many communication. Think of it as a “live chat” function that allows parties to ping text back and forth in order to share information and problem-solve on the go.

This can be crucial in the event of an emergency. For example, a dispatcher can notify all drivers in real-time if a school goes into lockdown. Or, a driver can hit one button to immediately let an admin know a rider isn’t feeling well. It also comes in handy for more common situations like a late bus. Administrators can communicate with all parents, parents of one particular route, or one parent.

Instant Messaging works on all devices connected to our communication platform— driver tablets, admin portals and mobile apps. By keeping relevant parties on the same page, we increase the chance that every student gets to school and home again safe and sound.
