Face ID Check-in

Treker’s new ridership system is sure to put a smile on the faces of students, drivers and district officials alike. With our new Face ID ridership option, kids can check on and off the bus simply by looking at the driver’s tablet. Using advanced AI technology, the child’s face is matched to a picture provided by the parent or school information system.

Perks aplenty

Think of the advantages. For starters, there’s no need to put a “gate” or reader on the bus, which can save installation and update costs. Plus, students no longer have to carry around—and potentially lose—check-on items like RFID cards. One less thing for kids to lose is one big win for parents and districts alike.

Here’s another important—and timely—advantage: Face ID lessens the chance of spreading the virus by reducing hand-based activity such as swiping an RFID while boarding.
